Programs: Public art partnered with artists and organizations to create ten new murals, temporary public art installations and performances in the roosevelt row artists district in 2014. Temporary public art was supported in part through the national endowment for the arts. Friday a. R. T. S. Market held 24 artist markets on formerly vacant and blighted land in 2014 serving more than 100,000 visitors and community residents. A. R. T. S. Market event programming provides new opportunities for participation and engagement for individual artists, other npos, food trucks, and arts related and services. A. R. T. S. Market includes 3 temporary shipping container galleries and trailer spaces for temporary activation and business incubation opportunities. Hosted 36 exhibitions for emerging and established artists. Annual artist meet and greet as the district continues to grow, roosevelt row hosts an annual opportunity for artists to meet, network and share resources and opportunities. Over 100 artists attended a community vision launch in february, 2014.
