Mission: Riverside theatre works strives to build a diverse community, nurture local talent, and inspire a lifelong love for the performing arts. We take pride in our affordable ticket prices, our broad range of programming for children and adults, and our outreach to local schools and families.
Programs: Arts education: riverside theatre works offers classes in dance, drama and music and private lessons in voice, piano, guitar, art and acting. The organization also offers a technical theater class, an arts administration work study program, and a summer performing arts program. All classes present recitals and final presentations to the public at the middle and end of the year. Mainstage shows: riverside theatre works offers the community several professional shows per season; musicals, drama, opera, and a cabaret series. Outreach programs:riverside theatre works brings theater and performances to local nursing/retirement homes, veterans, outdoor festivals, schools and libraries. Our stages of discovery program brings multi-cultural theatrical shows to the schools, which brings literature to life with interactive performances.
