Students are being exposed to instruments, learnin to read music and playing with others. As this program continues, we hope to have these students participate in our youth orchestras. Over 22,000 children in our region were brought the gift of music, including 13,000 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who participated in our link up programming, while our music therapy program served over 500 youth statewide. The orchestra concluded the season with the final performance by our conductor and music director, larry rachleff, who retired from this post to spend more time with his family. We are currently doing a nationwide search to find our new music director.
