Programs: The boettcher teacher residency is focused on increasing the number of effective teachers, including math/science and secondary teachers and expanding into rural areas of colorado. colorado-school based professional development: pebc offers school and site-based professional development trainings for teachers at all grade levels and across all subject areas. There are:* 412 days of intensive professional development for over 1,561 teachers and principals in 66 schools, which represents 9 colorado districts, benefitting nearly 78,500 students* 37. 5 days of leadership support for principals and teacher leaders* 12 traveling/on-site institutes for 497 educators in coloradolab classrooms: lab classrooms allow participants to observe research-based, high quality instruction by exemplary teachers working in their own classrooms. There were:* 21 local labs for 226 participants* 81 labs for 807 educators attending a pebc institute* 1 national visitation labs for 10 participants
national consulting and professional development: there were: * 232. 5 days of professional development in 21 schools districts outside of colorado* 19 traveling institutes for over 1,072 educators outside of coloradoinstitutes and seminars: k-12 educators from colorado and nationally, learn from seasoned pebc staff developers and education experts during three to four day institutes and seminars. Educators participate in hands-on, interactive sessions featuring key topics relevant to best practice instruction, there were:* two math institutes for 147 participants* one essentials of arguement writing institute for 11 participants* one cognitive coaching foundation seminar for 37 participants* one effective monitoring institute for 11 participants* one science institute for 25 participants* one leadership communities of practice seminar for 4 participants* two thinking strategies institutes for 343 participans

By leveraging the unique strengths and skills of these influencers in communities accross the state, we can break down the barriers that continue to challenge our devoted educators.
