What attracted me to volunteer with Asian Hope in the first place is the compassion behind their goals and work. They are fully dedicated not only to bettering the lives of children and families in Cambodia, but to helping them reach their maximum potential through education and empowerment. During each of my volunteering experiences at the Denver headquarters, all of the employees have been extremely kind and accommodating, and it is clear that they are committed to their work, as shown through the events they put together, the time the invest, and their general attitudes. The support they are able to provide to so many Cambodians is life-changing.
I have been supporting Asian Hope for over 12 years. Gowning up with both my parents and family playing an active role in the organization and now my family. I have seen the success and impact Asian Hope has not only on its program participants, but through the relationships that have been formed over the years.
I have donated to Asian Hope through the Golf Marathon. My daughter has been involved with Asian Hope for over 2 years now and we have come to support not only her, but the programs of Asian Hope. The stories and impact it has on the lives of so many children and families in Cambodia is so inspiring. We would recommend Asian Hope to any one of our friends and families.
I had the opportunity to volunteer with Asian Hope on a few occasions now. They are an amazing organization that has shown true compassion and strength for empowering all their program participants. I would recommend them to anyone!
I came to work at an Asian Hope school over five years ago, planning to stay two or three years and then look for a different NGO to transfer into. I realized that I was even happier with Asian Hope than I'd expected, and I'd love to work for them for years to come. Asian Hope's leadership has learned and changed so much since it was founded, and they're still fighting hard to grow and improve this organization in order to best serve Cambodian children. It's been my pleasure to serve under them and partner with them, and I've loved seeing lives changed through Asian Hope - from my own to so many of my students'.
I taught at one of the Asian Hope schools for 14 years. I have seen first-hand how the lives of many Cambodian children have been altered dramatically because they were given a top-notch, free education through Asian Hope.
My family began supporting Asian Hope about 6 or 7 years ago when my friend Tom began working for Asian Hope. Over the years we have raised our support and contributed to more areas. We have helped sponsor scholarships for college education, the village outreach, and a student going to school. It has been a joy for my family and I to see how our support has helped change lives. We enjoy reading the monthly newsletter and keeping up with what is going on. Perhaps the greatest thing I have experienced has been a phone call from a student in college, thanking us for donating and helping with their college education and the letters from our friend Mongkol and his teachers telling us how much they are enjoying the school. I believe Asian Hope is a great organization that is doing some very great work on the front lines. It is a pleasure to be a small part of their work.
I've been donating to Asian Hope monthly for nearly 2 years. I'm impressed by the quality of their work, their commitment to their causes and the continual evaluation of their programs. I look forward to maintaining my relationship with them and seeing what great things will be done in the future.
I have been working with Asian Hope for sometime now through their development department. Thier outreach programs and schools are truly changing lives of children and families in Cambodia. They stand by their foundation of protecting, educating and empowering the people of Cambodia.
Asian Hope has been living by their mission "Protect, Educate, Empower" for more than 15 years and as a summer school teacher, I received about as much respect if not more so, as a regular staff member. I was deeply impacted during my four weeks at Asian Hope Schools. Specifically serving at Logos International School, I received so much assistance adjusting to the culture, and the routine of this organization. I felt so supported and knew that this organization was doing its mission and going and above my expectations. I felt well-supported, appreciated and appreciated the impact that Asian Hope is making over there in Cambodia. I had the opportunity to invest in relationships that I know that will be long-lasting and will continue to impact my way I view education overseas. I know that Asian Hope will continue to change the youth of Cambodia.
Asian Hope has been changing lives for the past 15 years, and I am blessed to know many of the Cambodian young adults who are part of this program. These rising leaders have been given a second chance for receiving excellent education and hope through the redeeming love and almighty power of God. Asian Hope continues to improve the services offered to the original Cambodians invited to be blessed by AH as well as countless young children each year. Anyone can spend a good deal of time researching Asian Hope through their website: https://www.asianhope.org/ . I encourage you, however, to take time to visit either the headquarters in Denver, CO, or Cambodia to meet the leadership and the very lives involved in this great ministry today! I spent a month this summer volunteering at the summer school program for Asian Hope's international school, LOGOS. I thoroughly enjoyed the time meeting students and families who entrust their educational investments with Asian Hope!
I have been with Asian Hope for a long time. They have given me more than I ask for. I have a place to sleep, a good education and food is provided everyday. I have brothers and sisters who loves and encourage me. I have good guardians that teach me what life in the world looks like, even though i didn't like it, i'm thankful that they taught me. I used to be looked down by many people in my province but now they don't, thanks to Asian hope's help.
Asian Hope has given me an opportunity get an good education. I was able to experience love by them, and having hope in them. They have been there for me ever since I was in Asian Hope. If it was not for them, then I would not be able to have good education. They have done so much for me and my families. I just want to thank you for all the hard works that Asian Hope have done help me and the other kids as well.
I have been apart of Asian Hope for 12 years and my overall experience was good. They provided me with an education, a family structure with parents who loved me as their own and the employees of Asian Hope are like family. All my education came from Asian Hope; I went through school at Logos and now I am in America to complete my education. In my opinion, Asian Hope is a wonderful non-profit organization whose vision is to help educate children and families in Cambodia academically and as a community.
Asian Hope has given me the opportunity to experience love and hope. I started off as an abandoned kid, but now I have a family of over 30 people that loves and encourages me everyday. Currently, I am attending The King's College in NYC through Asian Hope's support and aid. I am thankful everyday for this opportunity.
I have been with Asian Hope for about 13 years and they really have supported me and given me the opportunity for education and a future. Right now they are trying to put me through college at the Master's College in Santa Clarita. I will be getting a degree in communication-electronic media and minoring in Bible.
I think Asian Hope is a great non- profit organization because they have raised so much money to help children in Cambodia. They are doing great work and are creating more hope for children in Cambodia. Asian Hope has helped me so much by paying for my college tuition and other expenses. They are committed to helping children in Cambodia and they have continued to surprise me with all the great work they have done.
Asian Hope has been supporting me in coming to the United States to get my college degree in Business Management Information System: Web Design. I have been going to Liberty University which is located in Lynchburg, Virginia. I will be a Junior as I start in Fall 2013. Asian Hope has played a big role in my life in bringing me the best education as well as introducing me to the Lord, Jesus Christ.
It has been a short time since first learning about Asian Hope. Already, I have been able to meet people living and serving in Cambodia and a student that is currently studying in college thanks to the supporters of the ministry. Such a large impact from such a close-feeling group.
I have been involved with raising funds for Asian Hope for about 3 years. One of the things that drew me to Asian Hope is the unique model that they have developed over the years, first with their commitment to a quality education for the orphans in their homes by creating their own school, to then committing to those same kids a positive, post-secondary education. What tremendous undertaking and gift to those students. And of course, the bigger purpose is for the these kids to make a positive impact in their country for the kingdom of God. And, as the mission of Asian Hope has evolved to education, they have created three great schools, each meeting different needs in Phenom Pen, that deliver quality education to a wide spectrum of kids, and fulfill the command to love our neighbors as ourselves. I am proud to be associated with Asian Hope and I hope to be able to influence others to get excited about their mission, as well.
I have been involved in the Asian Hope ministry since 2001. It has been a privilege and a blessing to watch these young, abandoned children grow and mature into faithful, self-sufficient young adults. Asian Hope has provided for the physical needs of 30 Cambodian children, along with meeting their educational and spiritual needs. God has given them amazing opportunities to graduate from high school and continue on to graduate from colleges and universities in the US, Thailand and India. Upon their graduation, these students return to Cambodia to reach out and serve the people of their country. My family and I have volunteered in Cambodia and also here in Colorado to love and support the Asian Hope students. They are family to us.
Asian Hope is doing a tremendous job of helping children and the younger generation of Cambodia to gain help, encouragement, and education, after the very destructive measures taken in the '70s to get rid of the educated. As these children are being taken care of in the orphanage physically, spiritually, and educationally, they are given "hope and opportunity"! I have had the wonderful privilege of personally meeting and sponsoring several of these children, and I'm so impressed with their character, commitment to better themselves, and then go back to their country (after some have had the opportunity to attend and graduate from college in the US)...and become leaders in Cambodia in many different areas of society. Each of them are such a tremendous asset to help move their country forward in positive ways!

I am very impressed with the work that is being done to help change the lives of the Cambodian children for the positive! They are getting a "top notch" education in one of the best facilities in Cambodia. After graduating from high school, several have been able to obtain scholarships and attend college in the USA, with the promise of going back to their country as leaders in various fields, which will help their country tremendously.
It has been my pleasure to be involved with Asian Hope since it's inception. The opportunity to assist in an organization that is not only interested in providing hope for today, but also for the future is a privilege. Asian Hope is not only providing a fish for today, but teaching the people of Cambodia how to fish. This is an opportunity to impact an entire nation. Keep up the good work.
Having been involved with Asian Hope since its conception, I have seen how the organization has grown to be one of the finest nonprofit service organizations in all of Southeast Asia. Asian Hope is serious in its commitment to depth and professionalism in every facet of its organization. This is evident in the number of children who came through their orphanage who are now college graduates, returning to rebuild Cambodia. This is unprecedented in any organization working with at risk children and youth. It is unfortunate when hype exceeds the depth of an organization, misleading its supporters – this is far from the realty of Asian Hope, with its proven track record of excellent services. It has been my privilege to serve Asian Hope as a Board member since its founding. Asian Hope has reached hurting, orphaned, abandon, under schooled, un-schooled children since its conception. As it has grown, and nurtured its own orphaned and abandoned family of 35 children, it has additionally through it programs reached thousands of local children and their parents not only in teaching basic academics, but family values and love and a love for Jesus Christ. I have seen lives for children like Nung who would never have had a chance at an education attend school and progress in his education and his life. Children are alive today that most likely would not have survived had it not been for the acceptance into our home and our ministry, and some of those same children have not only graduated from High School, but several are now back in Cambodia, having attended college in the United States and earned Bachelors Degrees and now help their families and Cambodians with professional positions. I am a professional nonprofit consultant, and after years of working with hundreds of nonprofits all over the world, I can say unequivocally that this is the finest nonprofit that I know of and it just gets better and more outreaching as time goes on.
In the summer of 2012 we volunteered to house an Asian Hope student in our home. Mareena told her story to me and my wife as the summer progressed. She told us how she was taken from the streets to be educated and eventually awarded a scholarship come to the US to attend university. Her dedication to her studies and Asian Hopes support was a true contribution to our society and the world can not be matched. Marrena so affected me I will raise the funds to go to Asian Hopes facilities in Cambodia and volunteer my resources to help this outstanding organisation.
Asian Hope is a model organization which strives for excellence in the work we do and through integrtiy in how we do it. The track record of the organization demonstrates that we are meeting our objectives and continue to grow as a ministry team as we look to the future. With ten years of hands on experience with Asian Hope I can say that it is a privilege to serve alongside each of the staff, teachers, volunteers and the people of Cambodia.
We couldn't recommend an organization more highly! One of Asian Hope's initiatives includes equipping future Cambodian leaders with a college education in the US. One of the college students (Marena) lived with my parents last summer- the more we learned about Asian Hope through Marena's stories, the more impressed we became with the organization. We wholeheartedly support this organization and will continue to recommend it to others because of their record or stewardship and effective change!
Having visited Cambodia three different times first as a mission member with our church and later as a board member for Asian Hope, I can state confidently that I am truely blessed by God to be able to be a small part of this awesome organization. I have known the kids in the homes for at-risk children, seen them grow into smart confident young men and women who all love the Lord. I see the quality education that Asian Hope provides and to hundreds of students while incorporating the surrounding neighborhood, allowing them to become familiar with Christian fellowship and teachings. Asian Hope has started a new village development program which focuses on school level catch-up, health and safety programs and support to the local church. Asian Hope does more of what God calls us to do with less financial resources than any organization I am aware of. Praise God.
Asian Hope ministers to youth, from preschool through young adults, by operating three schools, and two children’s homes in and near Phnom Penh. Unlike other ministries that I have seen, Asian Hope, has the goal of providing opportunities for the children, not just until they are 18, but to be educated through college and to then become leaders in Cambodia. I traveled to Phnom Penh to observe this work and after that time, I came away impressed with the quality of the service provided these youth. I have also met some of the same students during internships times in the U.S.
Since 2000, Asian Hope has been helping underprivileged and abandoned Khmer children with varous homes, schools and outreaches. This organization provides the resources needed to allow these children to gain the mental and moral acumen necessary to rebuild what Pol Pot took away. Several of the graduates from our programs are now serving as teachers, businessmen, IT professionals and counselors in the Phnom Penh area. All changing lives in the name of Christ!
This organization has a sustainable approach in educating and equipping Cambodian Children. Not only does it provide hope for the children of this country, but for the country itself. This organization has narrow, practical goals, and this organization meets and exceeds its goals every year.
My husband and I have hosted 2 college students with Asian Hope. We have been so impressed with the level of education that they have acquired through this organization, the students ability to speak excellent English, their strong work ethic, and the honest appreciation what Asian Hope has done in their lives! Given the history of the children affiliated with Asian Hope, this organization is definitely following their mission statement.
Hopes and dreams are being realized through the eyes of children who had no hope and no dreams prior to living at Asian Hope. Now, each young adult has a strong faith in Christ, outstanding educational opportunities and a heart's desire to serve those less fortunate within the country of Cambodia. I encourage you to read their stories. It will touch your heart!
Everyone I have come in contact with in this organizagion has an authentic heart for youth in general and kids in Cambodia specifically. I was so impressed that my family and I are jumping on board with Asian Hope and will be moving to Cambodia this fall.
My wife and I have supported Asian Hope for over 2 years. I have met 5 of the young men and women who were fortunate enough to be raised with Christian principles in the warmth and loving atmosphere of the Asian Hope orphanage in Cambodia. They are now in the US being educated to return to revilalize their country with God's wisdom and the knowledge they have gleaned from a US college education. It has been exciting to think that our donation is key to helping rebuild an entire country through the efforts of Asian Hope!
It has been a joy and a privilege to engage with the Asian Hope students this summer during their internships. As they get ready to begin the Fall Semester at their various colleges, I am sad to see them go, but optimistic for the future of Cambodia because of the talent and passion these students have to revitalize Cambodia!
