Causes: Education, Educational Services, Elementary & Secondary Schools, Literacy, Preschools
Mission: The mission of the school supply project is to provide supplies to the approximately 60% of SBISD students who qualify for free and reduced lunches.
Programs: 1. At the beginning of the school year, the school supply project committee delivers school supplies to campuses where there are high numbers of students in need. These new supplies are purchased through funds raised through our fund-raising campaign. 2. Backpacks, both new and used, donated by community members, are delivered to campuses where there are high needs. 3. Gently used and unused school supplies are sorted and redistributed to campuses where there is a high need.
