Programs: The purpose of providence health & services foundation sf&scv sa is to raise funds primarily for providence saint joseph medical center, providence holy cross medical center, and providence tarzana medical center. The medical centers are committed to their missions of continuing the healing ministry of jesus in the world of today, with special concern for those who are poor and vulnerable. The medical centers work in partnership with community organizations to reach out to those in need. Through these collaborative efforts, they improve access to health care and provide health education resources in the surrounding communities. During 2014, some of the larger grants paid to the three medical centers were used for neuro outpatient services at saint joseph ($2,000,000), the welcome baby program at holy cross ($1,160,821), and for the purchase of various equipment at tarzana ($126,600).
