Mission: Prospect theater company is dedicated to a bright future for the american musical.
Programs: Prospect is the booking manager of the west end theater, a venue which has been home to the company for many years. We manage the rental of the theater: scheduling rentals, issuing and tracking venue agreements and scheduling personnel to oversee load in and load out dates to ensure the smooth transition of the theater from one renter to the other.
ignite series: a series of one performance events at the 374 seat timescenter theater. Performances included concerts and staged concert productions: 9/10/16 honor concert reading by cara reichel and peter mills; 322 attendees 11/5/16 35mm concert reading by ryan scott oliver; 334 attendees 12/3/16 dramatists guild fund event est; 200 attendees 12/16/16 striking 12 concert reading by val vigoda & brendan milburn; 281 attendees 3/10/17 good to go concert;273 attendees 3/31/17 league of profession
developmental workshop productions. Productions with short rehearsal periods and limited production value brought before ticketed audiences. Prospect's musical theater labs bring together teams of musical theater writers to write 10 minute musicals around a common theme. The musicals are rehearsed and performed by a common director and pool of actors and presented as a complete evening of new musical theater.
