Causes: Education, Educational Services, Literacy, Remedial Reading & Encouragement
Mission: To address unmet literacy, esl and ged needs for "at risk" individuals. We accomplish this by developing and providing technology-based literacy,english as a second language (esl) and general equivalency diploma (ged)- educational tools and partnering with and training community and faith-based organizations to establish learning centers to meet community and individual needs one-to-one for "at risk" children, teens and adults.
Programs: We continued to do outreach by providing literacy, english as second language and ged software to churches, ministries, missionaries, home school parents, faith and community-based organizations to address literacy, esl and ged needs nationally and internationaly. At risk children, teens and adults are serviced with project light software locally, nationally and internationally. We continued to service and support new and existing learning centers and improve project light's existing zero-to-five literacy and esl software. We distributed nationally and internationally early literacy programs we recently developed as part of the literacy for life transformation scripture-based series. Theses programs are standards of learning compliant and include scripture. We also have been working on upper level reading curriculm, first through fifth grade level that is scripture-based. We also partnered with a local community-based organization to service at risk youth with volunteer opportunities within our organization.
