Mission: Promote excellence in ceramic art
Programs: Provided community classes for 1,200 students annually, on a variety of topics. Scholarships are awarded quarterly for need based students needing tuition assistance for classes. Conducted workshops and bring in nationally recognized artists to share their knowledge with participants.
provided gallery space for 10 month-long ceramic exhibitions. Hosted opening receptions and artist talks - all of which are free and open to the public. Provided exhibition space for resident artists to show their work at the conclusion of their residency.
provided 100 sq feet, semi-private studio space for 10 resident artists to use for a two year residency. Provide $500 firing and materials stipend to 10 resident artists to enable to further their artistic endeavors. Host one world-class ceramic artist for a month-long residency to enrich the studio for students and residents.
