Programs: Approximately 10 acres of fruits, vegetables and bee keeping for honey were planted, cultivated and harvested during 2017. The foundation maintains livestock, as well as operates a petting zoo. Students from detroit eaa middle schools and troy athens special needs program who are also involved in the 4-h club helped with planting crops and maintaining livestock. Individuals from jvs adult special needs program assist with livestock clean up and barn maintenance and enjoy the farm. The foundation makes the harvested crops available to the community, employees of local businesses, and anyone who is hungry. The foundation makes the facility available to the wayne and oakland 4-h clubs for the development of youth between ages 5 & 19. These two clubs care for the animals. The foundation paid for dues and entrance fees for the members to go to the county fairs and show their animals.
