Mission: To be an advocate of agriculture through leadership and education.
Programs: Sponsor marketing meetings and provide information to farmers enabling them to better understand grain & livestock markets, cycles, and changes in supply and demand of farm products.
educate the public on the importance of agriculture. Examples: farmers share of the food dollar breakfast - volunteers serve approximately 1,700 people a breakfast at the farm value of the menu items served. Heart of illinois fair exhibit - over 100 volunteers operate a spin the wheel game, combine simulator, and milking cow during the nine day fair.
ag-in-the-classroom - volunteers teach 3rd - 6th grade students about an ag related topic. This reaches approximately 140 classrooms each month, with seven topics taught during the school year.
