Peoples Clinic

Mission: People's Clinic is a community health center which offers comprehensive adult, pediatric and prenatal medical services to medically indigent families in Boulder County.

Originally started in 1970 as a nursing-based clinic for drop-in services, the Clinic has evolved into a nationally recognized family practice facility focusing on preventive care for the entire family. All charges for Clinic services are based upon the patient's ability to pay, hence, patients must first show financial eligibility for services.

People's Clinic is grounded in the understanding that money is not the only barrier to receiving adequate healthcare and that language and culture can also become barriers to getting medical care. Therefore, our staff receives cultural sensitivity training, and 64% of our staff is bi-lingual.

Last year, the Clinic was able to serve nearly 10,000 patients through 36,000 visits.
