Mission: The conference mission is to provide the premier statewide educational and networking forum for the women of the state. In 2009, the conference added a career fair to the conference programming to address the career and employment issues facing the state. The components of the career fair included employers with jobs for hire, resume critiquing services for attendees, career coaching and experts addressing how to look for a job, what employers are looking for, and how to brand oneself.
Programs: The pennsylvania conference for women is a nonprofit whose mission is to provide the women of pennsylvania and the region, educational and networking opportunities. More than 11,800 women attended the 2017 conference. One of the key components of the conference is the career pavilion, which includes resume critiquing and career coaching. In addition, the organization provides monthly teleclasses and interviews with nationally recognized professional development experts and authors. The conference also has a program for junior and senior female high school students. More than 500 students receive registration scholarships to attend the conference.
