P2P Inc works with communities in Yumbe district that lack clean water, sanitation, and Hygiene; they test, treat, and give out antimalarials to eradicate malaria and promote Maternal Child Health. They made water available in 3 villages of Achiba, Mechu and Kuru by their intervention. members of Rotary Club of Yumbe were trained to drill water close to the household, and 170 water filters were distributed to the households to ensure clean water quality is drank, to avoid water-borne diseases like diarrhea . Over 70 pit latrines have been constructed in the 3 villages using Makiga bricks that are easy to make and cost-effective. Tippy taps are installed for hand washing after the use of latrines.

Since encountering the leadership of P2P Inc in 2020, I have been fascinated to see how much good in the world this small non-profit accomplishes, from advocacy in public education to helping build a unique partnership in Uganda. Thanks to P2P tech support, I have Zoomed in often to watch impoverished Ugandan women organize a Rotary International Club as they learn, work hard, and show impact in reversing poor conditions of water, sanitation, and hygiene. As a longtime Rotarian and educator, I cheer P2p’s model of service above self.

TCP Global's micro-loan program collaborates with P2P in the Yumbe District of Northern Uganda. P2P's' technologically appropriate and cost effective solutions provide access to clean water, sanitation, and disease prevention in rural villages that realize a 50% plus reduction in preventable diseases. P2P works collaboratively with local change-makers to help them implement the change they want to see in their communities. I have learned a great deal working side-by-side with P2P

TCP Global collaborates with P2P founder in Uganda and Kenya. P2P is an excellent partner, working respectfully and effectively with grassroots partners to support their efforts to implement sustainable improvements in marginalized communities. P2P is effective because they listen and let the locals lead the way. They do not go in thinking they have all the answers. The low-tech, cost effective solutions they help implement are sustainable and replicable.

Chris Roesel the President of P2P has done an extraordinary job in remote villages in Uganda. Recognizing that villagers spend most of their meager income dealing with diarrhea, and malaria, Chris introduced a simple well drilling technology. Drilling a well by hand that costs a small fraction of wells drilled by power driven machinery making it possible for more villages to access clean water., Now that the villagers have clean water use bed nets and know about effective cures for malaria, not only do they save money, but they are also more productive. This is only the start of Chris's work. He has linked the VSLA savings groups to an external source of funding for their revolving loan funds that have provided larger loans, managed entirely by the community, to develop their businesses and farms. The women he works with are so empowered that they are sharing their knowledge about well drilling to other communities. They have also organized a Rotary Club, one of the few Rotary Clubs in thew world made up of village women, that spreads the message of empowerment and hope throughout the region. I have been involved in savings group promotion for more than two decades and the simple, low, cost high impact approach that P2P has developed is one of the best development interventions that I have seen. What P2P has accomplished is a model that could be widely copied in villages anywhere in the develoing world.

I have been learning about P2P for two years, by participating in a weekly meeting of savings groups groupies led by Jeff Ashe. Chris presentations and sharing of the evolution of his savings groups is always instructive. I recently viewed the videos of a step by step way they made a well in Mzuzu village. This inspiring work of a community pooling to ensure potable water access is what P2P is all about. Water solutions are what an increasingly complex world needs. Water solutions and active communities is what P2P does.

Chris has dedicated most of his
life to helping others. He can stretch a penny farther than anyone I have ever known and is respected by all whom he serves. He and P2P use funds efficiently for prevention of disease and death. P2P's work is underpinned by experience and research.

P2P INC is very effective in partnering with community based organizations. It's interventions are community driven approach. Other NGOs could adopt some of the methodologies because its theory of Change has been tested several times.

P2P is exceptionally effective! They have a vast range of experience and expertise combined with deep understanding and respect for the cultures of the people with whom they work and the people themselves. P2P finds others to partner with to achieve even greater successes. They are both frugal and pragmatic in their use of funds. P2P never ceases to amaze me with their commitment or their work.

This is a great organization that saves lives and gives hope to communities that have none. There are many outstanding nonprofits that can do wonders with our contributions, and I don't have the resources to support all of them. I do, however, proudly contribute to P2P in part because the founder gives so much of himself to make the initiative work. I'm very impressed with P2P!

I became familiar with P2P when Chris Roesel joined our Rotary E-Club of WASH last year. Since then, I have been extremely impressed with their dedication to WASH, health and community development work in rural areas of Uganda. The results of 70% less diarrhea and malaria and less work for women and girls are what impresses me most! Keep up the good work! Heidi

I have worked with several organizations and P2P’s rapid approach has been wonderful to see in action. If a community is ready to improve their situation and takes on P2P as a partner, there is little hesitation. A public health survey is done first. The data are reviewed with the community and a logical plan to address the needs is developed with the community. This happens over a matter of days, not months. P2P has shown that with a little support, water and sanitation facilities can be constructed using the means and methods available in the region.

I came to know P2P through TCP-Global. The non-profit organisation is doing a fantastic job in the remote areas. Their goal is to contribute towards SDG 6 Provision of Clean Water and Sanitation to all. This is evident in most of their projects undertaken in Kenya and Uganda. Currently the organisation is partnering with Plumbers Without Boarders to ensure the people of Rachuonyo village in Western Kenya have secured clean water and sanitation facilities. Long live P2P.

P2P INC is an outstanding organization that secures donations for a variety of projects in developing countries. I worked with a group of P2P INC volunteers to build Ventilated Pit Latrines in a small village in Western Kenya and was very impressed with how P2P INC was always conscious about how to spend donor funds wisely. P2P INC also believes in empowering local communities to not only contribute time and resources towards their project, but also to be sustainable. In addition, since P2P INC does not have a fulltime staff and relies on dedicated volunteers, most of the funds that P2P INC secures go directly to project work. That is why they are able to get a lot done on a minimal budget! P2P INC is an excellent organization to be part of and to support.

The P2P is a remarkable and innovative team!

A group of very interesting and friendly people; with backgrounds from all over the globe. I so much enjoy joining their meetings, especially for the many insightful conversations, that are always positive, supportive and always forward.

It really is a tightknit team - great at getting things done-right, and fast! I'm so impressed.

I really like that the the work is done side by side, and with highly engaged people on the ground. I think the other big part of P2P's successes comes from their open innovation mindset.

I can say that my own happiness index has gone up, by a lot, since I got to know the people at P2P. I thank you all, for all that you do!

P2P, through the leadership of Chris Roesel, is an incredible organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people worldwide. Kerongo Primary School (from Kenya, specifically Vigulu sub-location, Vihiga County and where I am from) is one among many communities that has received financial support and guidance from this organization. I was introduced to P2P via zoom when the school was in trouble. Because of its dilapidated latrines, it was facing closure. That is when P2P came to its rescue. Funding from this organization enabled us to renovate 5 buildings (24 latrine stalls and 1 urinal). The pupils’ education from this school was not halted because of their generous contribution. We are grateful for the fantastic work P2P is doing to change the world, one brick at a time. Thanks you P2P!!

I began volunteering with P2P Inc in late 2019 while the Executive Director, Chris Roesel, was planning a trip to Uganda. He made it back just as COVID 19 was shutting down the world.
Since that time we have still managed to help thousands of people in numerous villages via Zoom, WhatsApp and other means of social media.
We move fast.
We concentrate on removing diarrheal incidences by providing clean water, safe sanitation, malaria prevention and income generation.
