Programs: P16plus council of greater bexar county serves as a backbone organization supporting a shared community education vision while using data to drive decision making. P16plus builds on existing resources from accross the community and uses data to indentify and highlight what really works. P16plus has more than 100 strategic network partners working together to implement a common education agenda to improve outcomes in bexar county. Partners include 15 public independent school districts, 11 higher education institutions, non-profits, government partners, businesses,and philanthropic institutions. P16plus serves as the backbone organization and facilitator for partners. The partners collectively generate excellent student outcomes by identifying and implementing evidence-based interventions from cradle to career.

P16plus provides project management, facilitation services and fiscal management for mbksa initiatives in order to improve outcomes for 365,000 men and boys of color under the age of 35 in san antonio mbksa is focused on improving outcomes for high school graduation, post-secondary completion, workforce opportunities, reducing violence and recidivism for men and boys of color.
sa kids to win is a citywide attendance initiative. P16plus works together with schools and other non-profits to improve student attendance. During 2016-2017 school year, the program provided training for school districts and non-profit staff members working with over 50,000 students on attendance and best practices utilizing positive methods. Over 6,000 students received interventions and 72 of chronic non-attending students improved their attendance. The program has scaled to impact over 58 campuses in 4 isds during the 2016-2017 school year. P16plus provides all the data analysis on the project and shares the information with partners and funders.
