Mission: Mission is to effectively support the physical, emotional, social, and financial needs of people living with and affected by hiv/aids and to prevent the incidence of new infection.
Programs: Community education and prevention - conducted classes on hiv and prevention in schools, colleges, churches, and civic and business organizations. Provided one-on-one counseling and testing. Over 5900 people served.
case management - (medicaid waiver & ryan white provider) provided medical case management to clients, which included counseling, advocacy, education, referral and assistance in locating hiv and other client services, resources, and assistance programs.
340b clinic is a clinic designed to purchase medications at lower than retail cost and enable the agency to cover the co-pay cost that many of our clients at 250-350% fpl (federal poverty level) could otherwise not afford. Our clinic services individuals who are indigent and assists them with managing their medication and increasing medication compliance to help individuals obtain maximum health benefits.
