Mission: The activities conducted by ocp further its exempt purposes because they contribute to the cultural life of the city and preserve and educate the public about the art of vocal music.
Programs: Ocp presents three concerts a year. The concerts were held at the academy of music, kimmel center, verizon hall and the union league of philadelphia all premiere music venues in the city of philadelphia. The purpose of ocp is to educate the public about choral music and to perpetuate the tradition of all-male choruses. Ocp's repertoire spans classical, jazz, and pop. The singing membership consists of 69 members. Some are in their twenties, while others continue to be active members into their 80s and beyond. In january and february, a select group of singing members presents the twelfth night revels. Similar to the book musicals put on by penn's mask and wig club and princeton's triangle club, the revels feature slapstick, specially arranged songs, puns, and elaborate costumes
