I can arguably what this foundation is doing is beyond amazing, im familiar with this foundation through my little sister that was also battling cancer and when i heard captain poodaman started i was instantly hit with emotions. Im extremely glad and proud of the founder of this foundation for bringing light to cancer awareness and to every youth that has to fight cancer they know they can count on captain poodaman

Working as a volunteer with The Ahmad Butler Foundation was incredibly rewarding. I felt a strong sense of purpose helping the children battling cancer and other life threatening illnesses and their families during such difficult times. While sometimes emotionally challenging, seeing the videos of the children fighting to stay alive and the families trying to stay strong for their loved ones, I appreciate the opportunity for being a part of this organization that made it all worthwhile. The primary benefit to me was the ability to directly contribute to a cause I cared about and to make a positive difference in other people's lives.

ABF is an amazing organization that truly supports children with cancer and their families. The way they uplift children fighting their diagnosis is heartwarming and an inspiration. You can truly tell love is the motivation behind this organization. The team behind the scenes is very passionate, hardworking and proud of what they do.

I had the privilege of partnering with the Ahmad Butler Foundation to provide volunteers for their impactful mission. The foundation's dedication to serving the community is truly inspiring. I have been volunteering with ABF for the past year and a half. It has been nothing short of spectacular! An absolutely wonderful organization filled with caring and dedicated people.

I learnt about Ahmad Butler Foundation through Catchafire. ABF is a nonprofit dedicated to providing support for the children battling cancer. I was impressed in how dedicated they are in providing help for the kids and their families. I was fortunate in helping with the Million Families March this year. I developed key skills in event planning and fundraising. Working with a dedicated team gave me a deeper understanding of the challenges nonprofits face, and I gained a strong sense of purpose through contributing to the community.

The Ahmad Butler Foundation and I connected through Catchafire almost a year ago. On our first telephone interview, I was convinced I wanted to help ABF in anyway I could, insired by two factors: 6 healthy grandchildren and meeting Latanya Morrison. I have been so fortunate to assst in planning two huge events this year Poo Day and the Millions Family March. The passion, hard work, commitment, compasiion and love encompasses everyone and everything ABF touches. The superhero kids, actively battiling pediatric cancer, thier familes, the children who lost their fight and all who love them are so fortunate to have Latanya and ABF as thier advocate. I stand with ABF united to increase funding for Pediatric Cancer resaerch and support the superheo kids during their battle.

I have been working with ABF for over a year now as a volunteer and as a Board Director and I must say this one of the few non-profits that have placed the kids needs bang in center. I have been fortunate to have been part of the 1 Million Families March and my foundation was always so open to all the ideas we bring in. It's a non-profit worth campaigning for. I hope ABF continues to grow by leaps and bounds into the future supporting the mission it holds up high!

I love volunteering at ABF. It is truly a pleasure to support the AMAZING families we serve during their time of need. The energy is always positive, and all of the Volunteers consider themselves family. What a worthy cause and an AWESOME nonprofit.

I met Latanya Morrison, Executive Director of The Ahmad Butler Foundation, through a platform that connects volunteers with non-profits. Latanya and I had an introductory meeting and we instantly connected. Within a few weeks I was introduced to the team at their annual PooDay event at the Philadelphia Zoo, honoring the brave young children and their families fighting cancer. The entire team was so welcoming, the event was top-notch, the children and families were so appreciative of what Latanya and her team do - I was so impressed. They clearly work so hard and give so much of themselves to support their mission. The progress this Foundation has made in the few short years since its inception is INCREDIBLE!

This foundation and its founders are amazing people. I had the luxury of meeting the founder on a night where we both were invited to a community impact meeting and she moved me to tears. I couldn’t help but give myself to the cause and I will assist any way that I am able anytime they need.

PooDay at the Philadelphia Zoo was an amazing day for our staff! We loved hosting the event and working with The Ahmad Butler Foundation. What a great organization and special day at the Zoo.

I had the pleasure of working with this Foundation to host Pooday 2023 at the Philadelphia Zoo! Latanya and her team were absolutely amazing to work with. They are organized, creative, and determined to give these kids an unforgettable experience. Zoo employees raved about how much fun the Superhero Kid Parade was. It was honestly one of the most fun days I've ever had at work. If your organization has the opportunity to work with this Foundation, you should absolutely do it!

My family was invited to attend Pooday through our hospital social worker. I couldn’t have imagined the warm welcome we were about to receive. My family has felt the love from this foundation since our first phone call with them. Truly the most kindest, caring, loving & generous people. It is amazing & heartwarming the work that they so generously do.

Is very welcoming at soon as we walk in. Food is great and I he children loves the gift that they get.

I Have to say being a volunteer in forever captain poodaman foundation was such a pleasant experience! Everyone worked together effortlessly to make this event a success! we had so much fun! We laughed, we danced, and we sang all day long! No Child left without a huge smile on their face. The Mission of making them feel like the superheroes that they are was definitely accomplished. I would do it all over again a million times! I can honestly and wholeheartedly say that I was honored to be apart of this wonderful experience!!

I volunteered for The Ahmad Butler Foundation this past summer & it was the best experience ever. We sang, we danced, we ate, we played games. Everyone is treated like family. ABF is run by the most wonderful and comforting people. Every interaction I have had with with them is supportive and understanding of what a cancer family is experiencing because they know first hand the effects of childhood cancer.
Since our son’s cancer diagnosis, the Captain Poodaman crew have continued to check in with my family and provide fun ways to bring happiness to our superhero. They are working hard to provide support in many ways. Their kindness is so appreciated, but to see the good they are doing on the larger scale is something incredible. Keeping families, going through the unimaginable, connected and making it possible for the kids to be able to continue school work while getting treatment with their chromebook donations is admirable! We are so grateful to ABF and all they’ve done for us and what they are doing for all the superheroes that are in the fight of their lives. Also, they know how to make sure the kids have a great time at their events! My son still talks about seeing all the characters at the aquarium!

Like a horse in a race, the Forever Captain Poodaman: The Ahmad Butler Foundation is coming out of the gates fast and making strides. They are the best teammate a family can have when they need the support to keep going . I am Delco Spider-Man and I’ve been fortunate to work with the foundation on a few occasion. We both have th goal for supporting the families and children who are going through tough times. A child just wants to be a child, so we show them the love they need. Forever Captain Poodaman, The Ahmad Butler Foundation are amazing pillars of the community. This foundation continuously goes above and beyond to bring joy two children battling cancer. I see children smiling from ear to ear and forgetting that they are facing obstacles. I have attend it several events with Forever Captain Poodaman, foundation and each time I see the children are getting that they are in pain. Cheater and Captain Poodaman are the best dancers I have ever seen. This is one of the most heartfelt Non-for-Profits organizations.

The Ahmad Butler Foundation is a wonderful organization that supports children battling cancer and improves the quality of their life. Through donations ABF is able to provide a digital learning program to children, provide care packages to children in the hospital and also has virtual and in person events to meet the needs of the children and their families in this most difficult time. The leader of this non-profit is untiring! In turn her energy is contagious. As a volunteer under her guidance, I can speak from experience. Once an idea is born and the goal is established, it is not abandoned but achieved. The goal is always to make the life of the child and the family more positive. Sometimes a child may need a pair of sneakers. Other times it might be a night out for the family such as going to a sports game or watching a movie. It is a time for the family to feel whole despite hardship. Our leader's drive is undaunting. She spends hours on the phone asking for support from organizations, businesses and private individuals. The profits are always passed on to the families devasted by the diagnosis of childhood cancer. There is no better nonprofit out there because it is run on "love".

They are amazing, caring and incredibly thoughtful. We found out about them this summer. My son was diagnosed with CML almost 2 years ago and found them this year. I found a foundation, Forever Captain Poodaman The Ahmad Butler Foundation, that I truly know and believe that they are caring, supportive and doing the absolute best to give happiness to children and families with cancer. You would not believe they pulled off a Zoom charity event, in the hype of the pandemic, that was awesome. The Zoom consisted of children in the hospital, friends, family and others. Just to see the faces of the children, brought a huge smile to my face and warmed my heart. Tanya Morrison and her volunteer staff are awesome and deserve recognition and support. I am praying and hoping this review let others know, what a great foundation to donate to and work with.

A lot of organizations out there that children and their families dealing with complex medical conditions with respect. Forever Captain Pooderman goes beyond that and treats them like family. Each child is made to feel like a superhero. Ahmad Butler was a hero and the work they are doing in his name is a true honor. I truly appreciate the love they have shown to Benjamin and even more, the acceptance.

The Ahmad Butler Foundation honored Children battling cancer on their National Day with a virtual awards ceremony (every Child received a metal of honor) followed by a silly hat virtual pizza party for Children hospitalized at CHOP, St Christopher's Hospital for Children, Shriners, and the Ronald McDonald House. Over 300 Pooday boxes were delivered to Children hospitalized in the above mentioned hospitals prior to Pooday. The boxes were filled with snacks beverages, silly hats, a metal for the Pooday honoree, and interactive game board so the Children and their families could participate in Pooday virtually.

ABF Volunteers along with The Mummers String Band, Swoop The Eagles Mascot , Medical staff, Captain Poodaman & The Cheetah (ABF's mascot) all wore silly hats as we celebrated these brave and courageous Children battling cancer. Local pizzerias donated over 300 pizzas to the hospitals for Children with cancer. What an amazing day, what an amazing celebration, what an AMAZING foundation to be a part of honoring Children that are fighting for their lives! Happy Pooday!

The Department of Oncology at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is thankful for the Ahmad Butler Foundation (ABF) and all it is doing to support our patients and their families, including filling our food pantry during the pandemic and providing each of our patients with a Captain Poodaman care package. This foundation has already set up computer carts in 5 hospitals for children with cancer. They don't just support the child they support the family. They go above and beyond what people expect.

Donating to hospitalized children

They are helping children and their families who are experiencing a difficult time in their child's physical health. ABF'S outpouring of support and genuine care for the children is unsurpassed. They are an awesome group of individuals who are dedicated and determined to help those in need!

This non-profit goes above and beyond to bring a smile to children faces. Everything is done in love and it shows. They are genuine and whenever I can always donate because their passion and cause is true and dear. I love them to life and wish them an overflow of blessings to continue their work.

When a family gets the unfortunate news that there child has cancer. The blow is so devastating you never recover from it. That poor innocent child is dawned with the task of hospital stays, chemo therapy and the unknown. At The Ahmad Butler Foundation, we believe no child should ever fight alone. We give support to the children & their families bye providing whatever they need, to get through the day, the week or the month. Weather it be monetary, groceries, rent or a listening ear. It is my honor to serve these special little ones and their families. It is the best part of me.
