The Orlando Ballet seeks to entertain, educate and enrich the cultural growth of our community through the highest quality of dance.
Orlando Ballet is the professional resident ballet company in the Greater Orlando, Florida area. The 35-year-old nonprofit organization employs a full-time company of national and international dancers from Brazil, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Virgin Islands, Romania, and the Ukraine as well as the United States, performing both full-length classical ballets and repertoire programs in Orlando and Tampa. Currently the company employs 22 professional dancers and 18 paid apprentice dancers. Orlando Ballet offers six professional, locally produced ballets each season, including its highly acclaimed The Nutcracker.
Orlando Ballet is the only not for profit professional ballet company in Central Florida. Under the artistic direction of Robert Hill, the company produces year round programming, arts education and community outreach. The Orlando Ballet School
is award winning and trains more than 1,000 students annually. I am proud to support this organization as it continues providing the highest level of artistic excellence and training.
