These are targeted to staff in elder care settings, including nursing homes, assisted living, memory care, adult foster homes and in-home care with the goal of providing free, on-demand access to the trainings for staff in these settings.
providing enhanced communication to aging service providers and the public related to changing the culture of aging. This is achieved through the distribution of brochures about m. O. V. E. , oregon's culture change coalition. It also entails updating/maintaining the m. O. V. E. Website, which provides information to oregonians about person-directed care for the aging. It also included supporting the participation of an oregon assisted living resident in the white house conference on aging.
m. O. V. E. Held two educational programs for 47 aging service providers and other interested stakeholders. One program examined new, creative options for aging in communities, and the other was a site visit to an innovative multi-generational community providing housing for foster families and low-income elders.
