Mission: OABC is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer corporation, founded in 1996 as a grassroots organization motivated by the belief that a vibrant and thriving cultural life is important to the vitality of a community. OABC produces festivals, and arts events on its own and with other organizations; supports and advocates arts education in the schools; and encourages young artists to see professional performers, and interact with them through workshops and informal seminars
