Causes: Arts & Culture, Arts, Culture & Humanities, Education
Mission: We believe in “Quality Education for Everyone”. Options For Literacy strives to create equal opportunities for underserved youth, in order to attain a common vision: peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all people. The ability to read is the foundation of all other subjects of primary education. By supporting literacy education, we help direct students towards greater overall academic achievement and future success.
Results: We have donated about 400 books to a school and organizations and sponsored an event where over 100 books were distributed to students in the South Side of Chicago, Our Grow Your Library program is ongoing, and we look forward to serving more students in our community.
