Mission: To partner in the operation of a preschool in the shiro meda region of addis ababa, ethiopia to provide educational programs, including day camps to prepare local children for elementary school. This also involves providing training of teachers and providing students with at least one nutritional meal a day along with clean water and milk.
Programs: In 2017, one love was able to partner with a facility to provide a preschool for over 300 children along with clean water, milk and a nutritious meal eah day. 44 preschoolers graduated to enter 1st grade at various schools in the region. Additionally, one love provided improvements to the facility, purchased supplies, uniforms and other needed items for the students. One love also was able to provide for emergency assistance to students and thetheir families to help with medical costs and structural repair to a residence. We also provided chicken and a years supply of oil to each household to help families provide sustainable nutrition to their families at home. We maintained a clean water system and provided clean water to anyone in the community who needed it.
