Mission: Youth dance education and training and community performance.
Programs: Olney ballet theatre ("obt") staged and performed the nutcracker ballet, its only significant annual event, at olney theater center for audiences of about 4,000, with special emphasis on attracting youth and families. Obt trained and directed 100 student dancers aged six to 18 and employed 12 guest-professional ballet dancers for a 13 performance run that teaches young dancers discipline and grace.
