Causes: Animal Husbandry, Food
Mission: To promote and support beekeeping in the state of ohio through education and research.
Programs: Education; provided education dvds online, ecucated the public at the state fair through our pavilion, promoted research for bees through the save the honey bee license plate and save the honey bee stickers, supported 4-h student beekeepers and their mentors in local clubs with equipment and beekeeping education
research: provided grant to osu for bee research
member services: provided a quarterly newsletter, promoted local bee clun activities, created a honey judging training, provided habitat seeds for members to grow native forage for bees, held conferences for memebers featuring current research and beekeeping management techniques.
