The Yocum African American History Association (YAAHA) (EIN: 83-2130732) is a tax-exempt IRS Section 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to encouraging harmonious race relations in the United States by educating the public on 400 years of African American history.
YAAHA believes that having a better understanding of factual black history can foster new perspectives, positive attitudes, and encouragement for those questioning how they can make a difference in their communities. Through its publications, YAAHA offers learning tools and references to advance its goal of educating those eager to learn more about black history in the United States.
Over the past years, YAAHA has dedicated significant time and resources in developing tools to help accomplish the mission.
YAAHA offers free lesson plans, videos, the Profiles in Leadership series and the book “Black History 1619-2019: An Illustrated and Documented African American History” that is an informative and fascinating journey through 400 years of African American history.
These developments make it possible for YAAHA to stay current with the latest technology and publishing avenues in support of the mission. YAAHA is committed to continually creating tools, content, and communications methods with support of individuals, educational institutions and corporate benefactors. YAAHA will add additional resources in support of the mission as the organization grows.
The book is available on Amazon.com and through all national bookstores. All proceeds from book sales are donated to YAAHA. For additional information, visit the YAAHA website at: www.YocumBlackHistory.org.
