Fox Tale Sanctuary is such an amazing organization and everyone is so dedicated and devoted to the care and enrichment of the foxes. Everyone respects the foxes and their individual personalities so as to ensure they are comfortable and cared for in accordance with the sanctuaries mission. They are so loved!!!
Fox Tale Sanctuary is an incredible 501c3 nonprofit that provides sanctuary for surrendered captive bred foxes. The sanctuary is run solely by volunteers and on donations. Fox Tale Sanctuary takes excellent care of their foxes and gives these foxes their forever home. Each fox is given amazing love, affection, attention and care above and beyond. The sanctuary also provides education to the public regarding the high demand for sanctuaries and what can be done to protect these beautiful animals.
Michelle and all the volunteers are so kind. They walk you through what to do. It's so fun getting to interact with the foxes! their personalities are so diverse and fun. I've only been volunteering a few months and I really enjoy it.
You know the saying about rescue animals? Right? Who saved Who? Well, that is what I think about this non-profit organization and their residents! Time with the foxes, owner, and volunteers is never time wasted! I simply love every minute of it...even the poop pickup duties...lol. Also, I believe it has benefited me as a person as much as it has benefited the foxes. I call it animal therapy! The foxy residents and all of the volunteers of Fox Tale Sanctuary in Medina have become family to me. And, I have taken my children and grandchildren there to meet them all as well. I am proud to be a part of FTS in Medina as both a Donor and a Volunteer! Please consider coming out for a tour. You can schedule one through our website or contact me directly if you wish. I would love to introduce you to the beautiful four-legged fur babies of our Fox Tale Family!
Fox Tale took in my Jax(J) when we had to get rid of him and I couldn't be more thankful! They were so reassuring and update me. They made to to where I am completely confident that My J is being very well taken care of!
Located in southern Medina County is a special little sanctuary dedicated to the care, enrichment, protection and education of captive-bred foxes. These incredible animals cannot be released to the wild and find themselves in need of a home through no fault of their own. They are given full vet care, healthy meals and lots of love. I’m a donor, volunteer and consider myself fortunate to be able to help my favorite animals have a long, full life at Fox Tale Sanctuary of Medina.
I became aware of Fox Tale Sanctuary through a couple good friends of mine. The incredible work that the Sanctuary does on a daily basis is fueled by pure love and dedication. Each fox has their own unique story. It warms my heart to watch the live videos and see how happy and content each fox is. The foxes know they are loved and cared for by people who are devoted to them. Fox Tale Sanctuary is a wonderful place with terrific people.
Fox Tale Sanctuary is an amazing rescue. I started following when a little fox kit went missing. The community was so supportive in hopes of finding her. After many many nights she was found! I thought the story was over but nope! Michelle was on a mission, she was going to save as many of these beautiful creatures as possible. To date there are 25 foxes each with their own story. The labor of love from Michelle and all the volunteers is unmatched. All of these foxes have found their furever homes and I am proud to witness their transformations! Bless you Fox Tale Sanctuary.
We recently had to make a very hard and emotional decision to give up our fox, Smokey. This place is amazing, and especially the owner, she has gone out of her way to help me through this tough time. I have peace of mind knowing that Smokey is always well taken care of and he has even found a fox mate.
These folks are amazing! As a volunteer, I’ve seen up close the care, compassion and affection bestowed on theses amazing creatures. This is not an easy project but it is thriving due solely to the dedication of the organization’s officers and volunteers! Kudos to all who assist!
Fox Tale Sanctuary is such a great nonprofit. I absolutely love seeing the foxes and learning about how they really play and behave. I hadn't heard a lot of positive things about foxes previously, so it's great to see what they're really like. I love spending time with the foxes, it fills my soul with joy.
I first got involved with Fox Tale Sanctuary when Kit escaped. I heard about this fantastic place that rescues these awesome animals from harm. Michelle such an amazing woman. She takes these babies in and does amazing work with them. Fox Tale Sanctuary is the most awesome place. The best possible place these foxes could be. Tracy Oswalt
I am one of the owner surrenders that had to take my fox Candi (Poof) to Fox Tales due to unforseen circumstances. They were absolutely great and still keep me updated a year later. Candi has progressed and looks absolutely wonderful. I can never thank them enough for giving her a new home. They have taken in several others since her and I love to know that there is a place for foxes to go where they are safe and well cared for.
Fox Tale Sanctuary is an amazing 501C3 nonprofit that rescues captive bred foxes that need a new home for various reasons. These foxes are so lucky to find, and be at, Fox Tale Sanctuary as they thrive and are given the opportunity to be loved, spoiled, protected and get to spend the rest of their lives here. Things they may not have ever had before. They are interacted with multiple times a day, sat with/pet on, given toys to stimulate their brain and development - just a multitude of different things. The foxes are kept clean, enclosures kept clean, well fed, and spoiled is an understatement. They are taken on fundraisers to help spread the word about the nonprofit to help encourage donations and sponsorships. The foxes each have their “spotlight” on the Fox Tale social media page from the moment they get to the sanctuary so that the community is aware of what their story is, what responsibilities it takes to own a captive bred fox and why they come to the sanctuary. Donations are the key to keeping the foxes and sanctuary a successful mission and keeping the foxes safe, healthy and secure. I love being a part of Fox Tale Sanctuary. I love seeing, and watching, these beautiful creatures come out of their shells and trust you and love you as much as you love them. These kisses they give you while you’re spending time with them is the best feeling in the world!
Foxes are my favorite animal, so after discovering there was a recently started fox sanctuary near me, I had to see what I could do to get involved.
I have now been volunteering with the sanctuary regularly for around half a year now, and I look forward to seeing all the foxes on my volunteer days. It is fun and interesting to work with these animals and learn more about fox and their unique individual personalities.
It is great to see the sanctuary improving all the time, and a number of improvements have been made and more fox rescued in the time I have been there.
I have been a volunteer at FTS since April of 2021 when we had 11 foxes, currently at 25. The care that is given to each fox at this sanctuary is exceptional! There is no one size fits all, each fox is closely monitored for likes and dislikes, stress triggers, happy moments and what upsets them. All of these are relayed to volunteers for the best possible care. The relaying of this information makes it possible to continue giving these captive-bred foxes the best forever home.
