Mission: Promote the education, use, and development of linux and associated free and open source software.
Programs: The ohio linuxfest corporation hosts an annual conference which is open to the public on september 29 and 30, 2017. Here we welcomed over 700 attendees who came to learn about free software. This year we held professional training sessions called "ohio linuxfest institute" on system administration and computer security. There were 4 concurrent tracks including talks and panels on career advancement. Additionally we held a workshop for those new to open source software and specifically invited under-represented groups in technology.
