Mission: The ocean state animal coalition (osac) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the status and well-being of animals in rhode island.
Programs: Osac owns the ri community spay/neuter clinic, a high quality, high volume clinic which was created in 2010 to address pet overpopulation. More than 7,500 surgeries are performed annually on privately owned pets, as well as for those in the care of shelters and rescue organizations.
osac manages educatehumane! , a series of programs which annually teaches thousands of children across ri about pet responsibility, spay/neuter, wildlife, and dog bite prevention.
osac sponsors professional development training and opportunities for those employed and/or volunteering in the animal welfare field.
