Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Providing tools for a self-sufficient and sustainable West Africa
Target demographics: West African Youth & Entrepreneurs
Direct beneficiaries per year: 100-150 West African youth, entrepreneurs & locals
Programs: Our current projects include: SEEK: Summer Engineering and Entrepreneurship camp, where 60 students in Benin ages 8-16 will engage in fine arts, engineering, math, and entrepreneurship education in a fun-filled two weeks during their vacation. YES Africa: Youth Empowerment Services inspires, educates, and assists youth to become agents of change in their communities. Activities include school garden and tree planting and our long-term project, the first library in Allada, Benin. Project Self-Help: Novi will assist in the development of a cooperative of artisans and tailors who will explore potential product sales in West African and U.S. markets. Novi Boutik, Novi's for-profit arm, will sell these goods, and all proceeds will go back to the initiatives of the nonprofit.
