Mission: Provide a health care delivery network aligned with the mission and purpose of northwestern memorial hospital. Nmpg employs physicians to provide comprehensive primary care medical services to residents of the community, teaching services to the feinberg school of medicine and its medical students, and perform research and develop means to improve accessibility to quality health care services.
Programs: Provision of primary care services. Nmpg employs 119 physicians and allied healthcare providers covering specialties of internal medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, dermatology, occupational medicine, integrative medicine, alternative medicine, wellness, disease prevention and executive health. Patient care is provided through 12 medical offices located in the chicagoland area.
the majority of nmpg providers are contributed-services faculty members of northwestern university feinberg school of medicine. Approximately 5% of their time is spent on various teaching activities including rounding with residents in-hospital and oversight of residents and medical students and fellows in the outpatient clinic setting.
nmpg participates in various research and innovation activities together with community partners with a goal of improving quality of and access to medical care. This includes chronic disease management with federally qualified health centers,information technology for mt sinai hospital, development of supportive services for lurie comprehensive cancer center and development of computerized tools for tracking northwestern memorial hospital emergency room patients.
