Mission: NSPA aims to decrease euthanasia in the High Desert. We hope to accomplish this by increasing homeless pet adoptions and awareness. We believe that teaching the human/pet bond and responsible pet ownership will have an adverse effect on the number of pets impounded and the numbers will decrease. We feel strongly that spay/neuter, proper pet identification, training and a better understanding of animal behavior are the keys to decreasing euthanasia. We know we can not save them all today but we can inhibit future suffering and also create happy endings one pet at a time.
