Moses House is a ministry that meets the needs of single parents and their children. It's a bible based ministry so therefore, mother's and their children feel the love of Christ in this place. Currently I am a Mentor Trainer at Moses House, and I am seeking to find women who are interested in being Mentor's. The support system that Moses House has for the women is excellent. Keep up the good work Judy, Dennis, Matt and Edie and all the polite staff that I have had the priviledge to meet. Hats off to the the lady who drives the bus for Moses House to pick up and take the ladies to all of their appointments.

Moses House has a heart for the family and hands of compassion. In today's society the family may not always have the first priority but at Moses House they provide parenting and child classes to strengthen the family unit. The classes they provide not only provides a benefit to the mothers but also to the community at large because the mothers are more equipped and in turn they are mentoring the children that will become tomorrows leaders. I love that they mentor, guide, and train the clients providing a solid foundation of knowledge and love for future generations.

I have known the founders of Moses House Minitries for years. They provide a huge service to young mothers and many others in need. They have always held strong to their principles and work with much integrity. As a professional in our community, I try to support them in any way I can.

Currently I am interning at the Moses House and it has been an amazing experience thus far. The staff and volunteers provide a loving and caring environment for single mothers and other members of the community. Services such as parenting classes, case management, and childcare are provided by the Moses House staff to help individual’s transition from desperate situations to self-reliance. The thing that impresses me most is that each client’s circumstances and needs are individual specific and the Moses House does not utilize a one-size-fits all approach. Their ability to relate to all their clients is just one of the positive factors that make their efforts a success. I am grateful they are part of the local community and that I am able to intern there.~~~Choyce H.

I am extremely expressed with Moses House Ministries. I initially connected with this organization on an internship. It's mission to help others less fortunate is seen everyday. It's programs not only provide tangible items, it also provides training and educational programs as well. They also have a friendly staff, who work hard to be a blessing to all that come into contact with them

My husband and I moved to California in 1965. Our first priority was to fine a church home. Muscoy Community Church was our choice. This is where our friendship with Judy and Dennis began. Their wedding was the first event we attended. Soon we became like family. They both have this unique quality. The church was developing a childrens ministry, Pioneer Girls Clubs and Royal Rangers Boys Club. We became leaders and helped develope a strong childrens program. Dennis and Judy put their whole hearts into childrens lives meeting phyiscal and spiritual needs. They also reached out to families, organising food drives, fund raisers for camp tuitions and uniforms so every member could feel important. They were always searching for ways to make goals possible devoting their whole lives to God and ministring for Him through much personal sacrifice. They became house parents at Father Flannigans Boys Club in Omaha Nebraska. When they return a new ministry was birth in their hearts. Moses House Ministry reaches out with their hands and hearts to minister to the needs of women and children in the streets of the community. "Whatever the hand findth to do, do it with all your might" is what Dennis and Judy do well, accomplishing what God has given them to do.

Moses House has such a giving heart toward young teen moms and their children, born and soon to be born. God Bless them and their ministry. These young ladies don't need to be "beat up" for getting pregnant, they need to be loved and nurtured so they will be able to love and nurture their children. One of the great qualities of Moses House!

Moses House provides a nurturing environment for persons who are pregnant or parenting in which to learn skills to help them be successful in caring for their children. They have incentive programs to earn goods that will assist them such as car seats, diapers, etc. They offer non medical transportation to help these families obtain the skills needed to keep their families intact.

Moses House has been a blessing for my oldest daughter who has two children, they have offered her guidance wise councel and legal advice when needed. Their services have helped her with diapers and baby supplies when needed and their monthly meetings have offered her insight and motivation to strive for a better life for herself and her children. I believe that they need more voluteers and cash donations to continue to offer quality services and reduce the workload on the immediate staff. They have also offered councel to my second daughter that does not have children but was attempting to go in the wrong direction. Moses House has a big vision for the community and the commmunity needs to better support this organization.

I have been so impressed with the variety of services that Moses House offers to their clients. When I have visited their facility and talked with the staff I have been so touched by the commitment and love for the women and children they serve that is expressed and demonstrated by them. When I read their newsletters I am struck by how they have involved their surrounding community in their work. They have built relationships with community leaders and have worked with them to tackle issues that affect the whole community as their ministry has expanded. We have a ministry similar to Moses House where I live but it does not begin to provide the services that Moses House offers and it is not an active participant in the community that I think is necessary to broaden the scope of what could be provided. I think Moses House Ministries stands out as an example of what can happen when a community partnership is nurtured and a devoted staff, who reflect outstanding and committed leaders, provide the support and tools that are necessary for lives to be transformed.

Moses House Ministries is a wonderful & greatly appreciated service to our community, and especially to struggling mothers trying to get their lives in order, learn how to parent, and to build a future for themselves and their families. Some of these mothers have been turned away by their own families, and have had to struggle to exist & keep their families together. The women helped here can go back to school, and learn what they need to do to make their lives "matter" and become someone their children may become proud of. Moses House effects the children as much as it does their mothers. I am proud to have a place like Moses House in our community.

Working in the educational field in the High Desert, I have seen the good that Moses House has done for this community. Many of my former students utilized the various services Moses House provides, and it made a world of difference to them. When I think of the best non-profits in this community, Moses House is always at the top of the list. Judy, Dennis and all of the staff there really care for their clients and the High Desert, and it shows. Hats off to them, and here is to many more years of impacting the lives of young parents.

Moses house has been doing some wonderful work in the community. They are there for the young ladies that find they are pregnant and don't know what to do and they are there for the mothers who carry their babies to full term and deliver. they have many resources in the community to refer the girls if needed. I love the way they stay tn contact with the girls and continue to help them until they get on their feet. I refer girls there often.

Moses House Ministries seems to provide valuable services to unmarried/teen parents who are willing to work a program. Concerns within the community are that the leadership of Moses House are involved in political issues involving equally valuable service providers. As a member of the public, it's disappointing that Moses House leadership is spending any time at all working against a Planned Parenthood office in our area. Emails sent out in an attempt to organize supporters/protests against PP are not how I envision Moses House place in our community.

Moses House is making a difference in the High Desert of Southern California. Their programs provide mothers with parenting classes, employment opportunities, and spiritual guidance. They have proved that the proverbial dollar can be stretched beyond belief. Moses House uses our donations much more effectively than most social charities. We are proud to be supporters of this much needed work.

I have had four children over the last 14 years. Before I had children, my life was terrible. I was on drugs and made a very bad name for myself. There are things that I have done in my past that are unforgivable and since I have turned my life around, I want to be involved with helping young girls who have had similar experiences and who have faced difficult decisions. Moses House Ministries helps in supporting these women through tough times and has made the decision for them to keep their babies a joyful one.
