Causes: Arts & Culture, Theater
Mission: New paradise laboratories is an experimental performance ensemble that explores radical means of expression to bend and reshape conventional ideas of theatre.
Programs: Creation and performance of new works for the stage as well as non-traditional spaces. This past year there were 3 premieres, that include two commissioned works in historic landmark buildings, and one new work for the stage. The company currently has 2 new works in progress, with two additional works in planning. The company had 8 special events in which 590 people attended. In addition gave 66 public performances in which 3,057 attended. Our educational outreach activities reached out to 81 students during the year. And finally our on-line engagement tools had more than 14,000 visits.
