The New Mexico Children's Foundation has given $1,200,000 in grants to small nonprofits that provide services to children and families across the State. Over 85% of the budget is used for grants. These grants fund programs such as grief counseling, after school programs, suicide prevention, support for young fathers, home visitations for newborns, science education, literacy programs, early childhood programs, and summer activities.
