Mission: THE TRUST WAS CREATED IN 1974 BY THE DONORS, MR. C. NELSON HACKETT & MR. HUGH S. JEWETT, DURING THE DONATION OF THE GROVE AND INITIAL FARM PROPERTY TO THE YMCA OF YOLO COUNTY. IT WAS THEIR INTENTION THAT A SEPARATE BOARD OF TRUSTEES WOULD ADMINISTER THE GROVE IN PERPETUITY AND MAKE THE FACILITY AVAILABLE FOR THE GENERAL PURPOSES OF THE YMCA OF YOLO COUNTY. SEVERAL OTHER YOLO COUNTY TAX-EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS ALSO USE THE GROVE FOR THE ACTIVITIES.
