Programs: Blues'n bar-b-que - held each november- this event benefits local children's charities. This is a community wide event with three bands. Money raised is through community support, silent auction, merchandise and ticket sales. We meet our mission statement goals by keeping this event alive, preserving the rich history of the blues and holding live music events. In 2011, we donated $1000 to hospice of citrus county, $100 to citrus county chamber for ngp scholarship, and $325 to boys and girls club of citrus county.
live music series - smaller concerts and workshops held monthly that help us meet our mission statement of holding live music events, educating attendees about the blues. This event pays for itself through a cover charge that pays for the bands.
fundraiser for cancer victim this fundraiser was held to help a woman that has breast cancer and has no insurance or job. This woman has helped nature coast friends of blues help others in the community when they were in need, so the nature cost friends of blues, inc. Voted to try and help her. All expenses were donated and all money raised will be given to victim.
