Mission: We envision a world where everyone facing serious illness, death, and grief will experience the best that humankind can offer. Nhf supports the national hospice and palliative care organization's quality and research initiatives; hospice/palliative care provider education activities; consumer engagement and caregiver services; and the gpic impact fund.
Programs: Consistent with its mission, the foundation supported research projects, professional and educational projects as well as projects that promote increased access to hospice care in 2017 in conjunction with the national hospice and palliative care organization, its parent organization. As part of this arrangement with its parent organization, the foundation also supports projects that further the education and understanding of hospice care and provides disaster relief and help to hospices that suffered natural or man-made disasters.
