Causes: Health, Homeless & Housing, Housing Search Assistance
Mission: Nahc works to end the hiv/aids epidemic by ensuring that persons living with hiv/aids have quality, affordable and appropriate housing. Nahc accomplishes this through policy and resource advocacy, fostering, translating and disseminating research, and convening leaders to affect change at the local, national, and international levels.
Programs: Policy education - nahc provides information to hiv/aids housing providers, consumer policy makers and other constituencies about housing's role in better individual and community health outcomes. Nahc works both individually and in coalition with partners from the hiv/aids and housing communities to promote policy imperatives recognizing housing as a component of hiv health care.
