The Mountain Post Historical Association was instrumental in the acquisition of the boulders and Bronze plaques dedicated and placed on Founders Field at Fort Carson, Colorado August 15, 2017. The Founders field documents, and is dedicated to the civil leaders and founders of Fort Carson in 1942.

They also assist the Fort Carson and 4th Infantry Division Museum. Their work and support help preserve history of the Mountain Post and the 4th Infantry Division. We appreciate their hard work and contributions to preserving history of the units at Fort Carson and the 4th Infantry Division.

Photos below show Major General Ryan F. Gonsalves, Commanding General 4th Infantry Division and COL Ronald Fitch the Fort Carson Garrison Commander.
