I enjoyed working for Moore Place. I believe that they are the only day shelter for domestic violence victims in Chicago,IL. The reason that I'm not working their is the lack of funds.

Moore Place was ok. They helped the women and the children, but what about the men? I say that because I have seem some women take advantage of a good guy, For example, they hit the guy and curse him out in front of his friends.

Moore Place goes above and beyond to help women and children who are victims of domestic violence. I have witnessed Moore Place give away coats, shoes/boots, clothes, food, bus cards, diapers, personal items, awareness/education, and most important; understanding and love. By Sandra
