This place should be focused on adoption birds. But the process is longer than adopting a child. You have to fill out a pile of paperwork then attend a special class. Then you have to have your house inspected numerous times and be interviewed. It's maddening. Basically at any step in the process the rug could be pulled out and you don't get a bird. This includes a post inspection where you lose not only the bird, but the adoption fee. (read the contract) Currently, they aren't adoption any birds due to upgrading their facility. But they will happily take your donation. Miss Vicki mostly collects birds. Do not be fooled.
