Mission: Mid-florida housing partnership, inc. Was incorporated in november 1989 as a not-for-profit corporation, and was granted tax exempt status under section 501 (c) (3) of the internal revenue code. The organization was created to expand opportunities to low and moderate income residents to obtain adequate, affordable housing accommodations and towards raising the economic and social levels of this segment of the population through its various programs.
Programs: Chdo/home the partnership provides low income rentals to eligible households as well as to special needs clients. The chdo prequalification program helps low income families prequalify to buy homes.
palmetto services to palmetto house program is a transitional housing facility for homeless families and individuals. Services provided to homeless families and individuals are geared to assist the homeless with becoming self-sufficient. Other grant: volusia county first time home buyer program which includes education classes and credit counseling; hud counseling grant; state of florida-foreclosure hardest hit fund, principal reduction program, and foreclosure prevention program rental program: as described in the mission statement, mid florida housing partnership provides affordable housing in the volusia and flagler counties areas. Each participant must meet a set of standards or order to qualify for the rental program.
