We consult on the history of the neighborhoods, incentives for reinvestment, and obstacles that could impact development. We also advocate for public investment to support the planned revitalization of the area.
the organization provides facade improvement grants to small businesses and neighborhood improvement grants to low and moderate income homeowners. Both grants focus on the overall improvement of quality of life and property values along with obtaining an attraction to the mid city for a viable future.
mcra coordinates an annual all-volunteer community improvement program to help disabled, elderly, and needs-based households with minor repairs, minor rehab, and landscaping to inspire community pride. Fixup! Mid city has been active since 1993. Mcra also provides affordable housing through the direct development of units or partnering on the production of units.
