Mission: The mission of methodist services is to provide social services and residential services for children, families and individuals to enable them to have the basic essentials for living and the social, emotional, psychological, educational and spiritual development to achieve their greatest potential.
Programs: Children social services housing: methodist services programs provide services that relate to the well-being of children that have been referred to by the city of philadelphia, department of human services. The primary goals of these programs are to provide a safe and nuturing environment for the children, whether it is placement in foster care, reunification with birth parents or adoption.
supportive housing: methodist services provides case management and life skills training to thirty women and their children residing at monument village. In addition, methodist services provides services to homeless adult women, through its bridgehouse and fresh start programs, by providing them safe and supportive transitional housing. Social services are provided to help each woman achieve self-sufficiency and independence through life skills training, budgeting and money management along with job readiness training.
