Causes: Arts & Culture, Natural History & Natural Science Museums
Mission: Organization promotes understanding and appreciation of mesa verde nat park and develops financial and other resources to support the park in its mission of protecting its cultural, natural and wilderness values.
Programs: The foundation provides fundng to mesa verde national park for capital educational and maintenance projects not covered by the federal govt. Current projects include improvements to the morefield campground amphitheater, maintenance on housing for seasonal employees, restoring the historic horse patrol facilities,improved accessibility for chapin mesa and new audio-visual equipment. In addition, the foundation continues to provide support for the stabilization of cliff palace, the park's most iconic ancestral puebloan archaeological site.
