Mission: The mercer housing corporation is organized and operated exclusively for the benefit of, to perform the functions of, and to carry out the purposes of the corporation of mercer university, a faith-based institution of higher education and an organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the code (the "university"), by undertaking activities that would otherwise normally be undertaken by the university including, but not limited to, educational activities such as providing housing for students, faculty, and staff of the university.
