Mission: The object aim purpose of the corporation has always been to gather into one compact organization the alumni of meharry medical colleges living in the chicago, illinois area for the exclusive purpose of charitable fund-raising, which is done in support of meharry medical college and sustaining operation of the chapter. Records as early as 1967 have documented the activities of the chicago chapter directed towards the support of the college. This has typically revolved around an annual fund-raiser, which is meant to facilitate a large annual donation to be made to the medical college at the spring convocation in nashville, tn. The chapter has also been successful at providing support and networking opportunities for meharry medical college alumni.
Programs: We gather the alumni of meharry medical colleges living in the chicago area for the purpose of charitable fund-raising which is done in support of meharry and sustaining operation of the chapter.
