Mission: MdC was founded in 1992 to assist families of children of disabilities with the complex task of 1) finding funding for home disability access projects and 2) designing the home for such projects. The Board of Directors all have disabilities or are the relative of a child with a disability. MdC also educates the public about rights of children with disabilities as it pertains to education, benefits and non-discrimination. Our goals are to promote independent living and provide for safe access and egress to the child's home.
